  • Engineer real-time control software for the laser terminal system, including control loops, state machines, and peripheral device management.
  • Develop and deliver high-precision embedded software for control systems, with expertise in both bare-metal and Linux-based environments.
  • Architect and simulate optimal control loops incorporating position and optical sensors to control motors and actuated mirrors.
  • Participate in on-site and airborne field testing of the terminals.
  • Collaborate on electronics development and provide debugging support for terminal software.

Your Profile

  • MS degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or a closely related field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Physics) with at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven ability to design and implement high-precision embedded control systems using C and C++.
  • In-depth knowledge of control loop architectures, actuator/sensor modeling (theoretical and Simulink experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded development tools.
  • Experience with common embedded system communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).
  • Experience with FPGAs, MPSoCs, and hardware/software co-design.
