Optomechanical Manufacturing Technician for Laser Terminal Assembly and Testing (f/m/d)

• For our new unmanned-aircraft laser communication terminal, you are responsible for the assembly and adjustment of mechanical/optomechanical systems.
• You will work with an international engineering team to build up good processes and working instructions for an effective manufacturing.
• You carry out inspections and tests during production to ensure the function and quality of our laser terminals.
• You work in cooperation with our engineers to perform error analyses and repairs.
• You document each production step to ensure the traceability of components and products.
• You like to take responsibility, attach great importance to the quality of the products you manufacture and always keep an eye on details.

 

Your Profile

• Successfully completed vocational training in the technical field.
• Relevant professional experience in handling high-precision optics and optomechanical components/systems.
• Some experience handling electronics and soldering, such as connectors, would be an asset.
• Reliable, structured and focused way of working.
• You are an absolute team player and are interested in helping to shape the upcoming era of laser communication.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. German language is a plus, but not mandatory.
